Research Assistant - salary grade 13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen

part-time employment may be possible

Working field:

Research on communication networks within the project 6G-RIC (6G networks, edge computing. Localization, machine learning for networks). PhD thesis preparation is possible.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed a research-oriented university degree (Master or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or in a related area
  • Outstanding first successes (e.g. publications)
  • Strong expertise in Computer Networks
  • Strong programming skills (Pyhton, C++, Matiab)
  • Very good Knowledge of Linux
  • Strong mathematical background
  • Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
  • Enthusiasm for leading-edge research, a mix of creativity and persistence, and team spirit are essential
